Hello good people,
Over the last several months, I've been travelling to and spending time in the beautiful country of Brazil, recording new music for two separate projects. One is with my dear friends Douglas Lora, Dudu Maia, and Alexandre Lora of Trio Brasileiro for a new record entitled Rosa Dos Ventos, and the second with the brilliant guitarist Marcello Goncalves for a duo project celebrating the music of Moacir Santos called Outra Coisa. Both albums will be released this spring and I’ll be sharing information on both in the coming months!
But first, I'll be performing a few dates with the Anat Cohen Quartet:
Mar 9 / Boston, MA / Scullers Jazz Club
Mar 10 / New Haven, CT / Schwartzman Center
Mar 19 / Durham, NC / 21C
Apr 7 / Reading, PA / Berks Jazz Fest
